We have a Blu-ray player that also supports DVDs, Tape/CD players, a VHS/DVD combo player that can play both formats and a VHS/DVD combo player that can also convert formats, all connected to high-definition monitors.
Our computer workstations can also be used to watch DVDs.

We have special equipment to view microforms, since they are scaled-down versions of documents. Use our digital scanners for viewing and digitizing non-moving film images including: slides, 35mm negatives, microfilm, microfiche, and micro-opaque cards. You can also check out a portable microfiche reader at the Main Desk for 4 weeks.
Our digital scanners have a 7x to 30x optical zoom and total combined optical/digital zoom of up to 105x, to create scans with resolutions from 200 dpi to 1200 dpi.
The scanning itself is free. You can store the scanned images with a flash drive.
Handle microforms by the edges, as you would a photograph. Remember invisible or seemingly small damages to the eye may become a major problem when you enlarge the image. Smudges and scratches ruin images, destroying information.

All our workstations are equipped with DVD players and headphones are recommended for sound. You can borrow headphones from Tech lending if you’re an ISU Student.
We also have a FindMe-BW printer/scanner/copier and a color printer for your convenience.
Our space also serves as one of the quieter study spots in the library due to being tucked away in the lower level.
We have tables ideal for group study, rolling chairs, rolling whiteboard, conveniently located computers, printers and scanners, all for your study needs.

We have Merlin LCD magnifier and GoVision magnifier to aid visually impaired people.
We also have 2 workstations with assistive scanners integrated with OCR.
