It's Library Card Sign-Up Month, and getting a card for Ames Public Library (APL) is easier than ever. From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. each Thursday in September, APL staff will be at the regular Bookmobile stop, in the turnaround area between Parks Library and Morrill Hall, celebrating those on campus who already have a APL card and registering new people for one. All new and existing cardholders can get a sticker by showing or signing up for a library card.
Students, staff and faculty need a photo ID and something with their address on it (including digital receipts on their phone). Students can use Access Plus on their phone to prove their address, which makes it even easier.
After visiting the Bookmobile, cardholders can grab some popcorn for the road.
