Passport Adventure at Parks Library

Join us for the  inaugural  Passport Adventure at Parks Library, an exciting addition to Welcome Weekend, 2-5 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 25. This engaging drop-in event is the perfect opportunity to explore the diverse resources and inspired  spaces of Parks Library before classes start.

Pick up your Parks Passport at  the information table  near the Main Desk on the First Floor  and embark on  your  journey. As you navigate  to  various  areas, you’ll collect stamps and answer fun questions that guide you to key  library  locations. Don’t miss  this chance to  visit  the Fireplace Reading Room,  a cozy study spot,  and explore  Central Parks Pods in  the Learning Connections Center.

The first 100 people to complete the passport by collecting all stamps or answering questions will  earn a stylish  University Library-branded  umbrella, perfect for those  days  when you’ll make your way to class in the rain.  Available while supplies last. Plus, pick up a free luggage tag for your travels to and from home.

Join us for on-the-go snacks, take memorable photos, and share your adventure. This is a fantastic way to get acquainted with the library and kickstart your academic journey at Iowa State. We can’t wait to see you  at  Parks Library!
