Abbey Elder, Open Access and scholarly communication librarian, has been appointed to the Steering Committee for the newly announced Open Education Association Development Project 

This project is a national initiative committed to creating a future where educational resources and practices are openly shared and tailored to learners' needs. Through collaboration and strategic coordination, the project seeks to enhance recognition of open education throughout the United States, unify efforts, and strengthen collective impact.

Elder is one of six voting members on the national group’s Steering Committee, and will support the team’s efforts to assess the U.S. open education landscape while fostering relationships with other national and global education networks.
